问路全班分成若干个小组。教师准备一张城市街道的地图(可参阅义教初中课本第二册第35课的插图)。游戏开始,甲乙组各上来一名同学,一人问路,另一人答。问路的可先在地图上指一下出发地点,说:“It'shere.”然后两人开始如下对话:A:Excuseme.Whereisthenearestpostoffice?(或:Isthereapostofficenearhere?或:Whichisthewaytothenearestpostoffice?)(去的目的地由问路人自己确定)B:Walkalongthisstreet,andtakethethirdturningontheright.It抯aboutahundredmetresontheleft.(根据地图实际情况回答)A:Thankyouverymuch.B:Notatall.对话内容可以灵活变化,下面是另一组对话:A:Excuseme.Canyoutellmethewaytotherailwaystation?B:Godownthisroad.Takethethirdturningontheleft(或:Turnleftatthethirdcrossing).Walkalonguntilyoureachtheend.You'llfinditinfrontofyou.A:Howfarisitfromhere?B:about4kilometres.Ithinkyou'dbettertakeabus.A:WhichnumberdoIneed,please?B:TheNo.3bus.It抣ltakeyourightthere.A:Thankyouverymuch.B:That抯allright.对话中的划线部分可根据地图说,也可由学生自定,或是写在纸上让学生抽,然后根据纸上的内容说。第一对说完后,第二对继续说。说不出或说错的要扣分。
