LawNo.(18)fortheyear1998IndustryandTradeLawPublishedatpage3782oftheOfficialGazetteNo.4304dated1/10/1998Article1-Thislawshallbecalled(theIndustryandTradeLawfortheyear1998)andshallbeenforcingafterthirtydaysofpublicationintheofficialgazette.Article2-Thefollowingtermsandphrases,whenevermentionedinthislaw,shallhavethemeaningscitedbelow,unlessotherwiseisindicated:-Ministry:MinistryofIndustryandTrade.Minister:MinisterofIndustryandTrade.BasicMaterials:Thematerialsthatthecabinetshalldeemtobebasicpursuanttotheprovisionsofthislaw.Strategicstock:ThestockpilesofbasicmaterialsthattheCabinetdecidestokeepindefinedquantitiesattheMinistryforpurposesoffulfillingitspoliciesandobjectives.Article3-A-Upontheenforcementofthislaw,theMinistryshallbeconsideredthelegalsuccessortotheMinistryofSupply,andhenceshalltakeovertheresponsibilitieswhichwerecarriedbytheMinistryofSupplyasindicatedinthislaw.Theterms(MinistryofSupply)and(MinisterofSupply)shallbereplacedby(MinistryofIndustryandTrade)and(MinisterofIndustryandTrade)whenevermentionedinanyeffectivelaworregulation.B-AnyinstructionsorresolutionsissuedbytheMinisterofSupplyortheMinistryofSupplyoranyeffectiveagreementsinwhichthesameministryispartshallbedeemedtobeissuedbytheMinisterortheMinistryormadewiththesamewhatevernecessitymightbe.Article4-TheMinistryshallberesponsiblefordrawingtheeconomic-industrialandgeneralcommercialpoliciesintheKingdomandshallworkontheimplementationofsuchpoliciesinadditiontotheexecutionofallaffairsundertheresponsibilityoftheMinistrypursuanttoanyeffectivelegislations,andinthatcontext,theMinistryshallberesponsibleofthepd4mlevaluationcopy.visithttp://pd4ml.comfollowing:-A-Inindustry:1.Thepreparationofprogramsandstudiesandconsequentlyworkonthedevelopmentofindustryandenhancingitscompetitiveness.2.Organizeindustryintermsoftypeandtherequirementsofqualityindustryaswellasclassificationofindustryandregisteringitinaccordancewitharegulationissuedforthispurpose.3.Followuptheindustri
